Lars Andersen & Associates, Inc. has worked side-by-side many developers, city planners and community directors to take their project from conception to completion. Assisting our Clients in developing their projects on time and on budget, Lars Andersen has been fully engaged in assisting in getting projects shovel ready and obtaining stimulus dollars. During each project, we support our clients by preparing Preliminary Site Assessments, Designing Conceptual Site Layouts, working with the government agencies for entitlements and preparing cost estimates.

Lars Andersen & Associates has added online meetings as one of many tools utilized in assisting to expedite projects in a cost effective manner. This service allows the project manager to readily communicate concepts & issues to the client while also getting feedback immediately, allowing Lars Andersen to get the finished project more effectively.

Access Compliance

Issues regarding Access for all individuals has become increasingly prevalent in today’s climate. Whether it is the ramp in front of a store, correct signage, or the accurate height for a toilet, concerns over adherence to the American’s with Disabilities Act are everywhere. The Firm of Lars Andersen & Associates houses a staff of experts on these very issues and is one of only a few Civil Engineering and Design Firms in the Central Valley with a Certified Access Specialist (CASp) on staff.

Lars Andersen & Associates has expertise in accessible design and has assisted in adherence on numerous projects, ensuring the sites are compliant with ADA & CBC codes. With our almost 70 years of experience in the Civil Engineering field, we are able to assist with these issues from the very beginning of a project, saving our clients time and money up front, and avoiding the possibility of Accessibility Related lawsuits.

Sustainable Design

Lars Andersen is actively involved in utilizing Green Technology and we are constantly involved in many Green projects. With our LEED Accredited staff, we are working as a leader in the industry in developing new ideas in assuring that a project is environmentally friendly. We take pride in our ability to Introduce elements that are consistent with the community’s backbone infrastructure and community plan have also been a primary focus of our development.

Planning

Lars Andersen & Associates, Inc. has extensive experience with Site Development, carefully integrating each site into the community in which they are located. These projects have required management and design of all water, storm sewer, roads and utilities necessary to serve these areas. Coordination with local, state, and federal agencies and working with surrounding property owners is also often a necessary component of the process.

Since the firm of Lars Andersen & Associates, Inc. was founded in 1941, it has successfully completed literally hundreds of projects for Shopping Centers, Subdivisions and Industrial Projects. While completing these major projects, many of which involved master site planning buildings, facilities and infrastructure into the local community, aesthetics and environmental sensitivity have been a major priority for the firm.

Land Surveying & Mapping

With the most current survey technology, our survey staff is capable of performing the variety of surveying disciplines necessary for a successful project. Our many years of experience, as well as our history of involvement with complex projects, enables our survey staff to quickly identify and provide the detailed information needed to develop each site. This combination of experience and technology allows them to guide projects through with the least encumbrance on the property while keeping on schedule.
